Coral Cat Shark in El Nido

  |   AquaLife, AquaNews

Scuba diving in one of the spectacular Fluorescent Dives in El Nido, Philippines, we found an amazing Coral Cat Shark. As you can see in the video filmed by one of the best Philippino Divemaster, the shark avoids the divers shaking itself and creating a cloud of sand where to hide and disappear under the reef.

The Coral Cat Shark has a variable mixture of spots, stripes and bands in shades of brown to gray to black and white tips or borders on all fins. This is a solitary animal which can be found in crevices and holes of coastal reefs between 1 and 15 meters.

This is one of the wonders about scuba diving, you never know what you will find down there. Check out also our encounter with a Manta Ray.
