Pacanayas Dive Site

Description

In the north west of the Bacuit Bay, lays the island of Pacanayas, also known as Picanayas or Bicanayos rock. This dive site is a circular reef, which offers a lush garden of corals, such as table coral and Daisy coral. The wall of the reef drops until a sandy patch. Surge is present very often, so experience is required.

Marine Life

Scorpionfish, mantis shrimp, turtle, barracuda, titan triggerfish, trevally, unicornfish and time to time black tip shark can be also encountered.

6-24 meters.
