Course Objectives:

To teach divers how to prevent and manage diving emergencies

Learning outcomes — you will learn to:

Identify and respond to diver stress and equipment problems
Safely assist tired, panicked, or distressed divers
Perform search patterns for a missing diver
Manage surface emergencies and coordinate responses
Bring an unconscious diver to the surface and exit the water
Implement self-rescue techniques to stay calm and maintain control
Create and execute an Emergency Action Plan (EAP)

Equipment provided to participants

All participants have access to:

Tanks and weights
Dive computer (if required for specific scenarios)
Surface signaling devices (whistle, signal buoy, etc.)
Specific rescue equipment, such as rescue ropes and training kits
First aid training materials
Demonstration equipment for emergency oxygen
All educational materials (printed or digital)

Recommended personal equipment: mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit (rental available if needed).

Certification included:

Rescue Diver certification (issued upon completion of training)
